OUR SERVICES

Holistic and Client-Centred Support
ASsIST provides personalised, client-centred information services, adapting support to individual circumstances and needs. Our approach is attentive to the effects of trauma, loss, and displacement, with the aim of providing respectful and meaningful guidance throughout different stages of the asylum process.

Comprehensive Client Support
We also connect clients with additional welfare and support services to help address practical and well-being needs.

Interpretation and Translation Support
All services are supported through interpretation and text translation in more than 12 languages. Voice, text, and online interpretation services are provided as required.

Helpline and Information Services
Our mobile messaging helpline [voice and text messages only] provides information regarding asylum procedures, administrative processes, available services, and practical
matters affecting asylum seekers and refugees in Greece.

Legal Services and Referrals
We assist clients by referring them to Greek lawyers for support with:
• registration of asylum claims,
• interview preparation,
• navigating government procedures and online systems,
• and case-specific legal services to help individuals understand and address their legal situation.

Quality and Professional Standards
We prioritise the quality and consistency of our services. By reviewing our methods in light of legislative developments, operational experience, and client feedback, we seek to ensure that our services remain effective, accessible, and responsive to changing circumstances.

Remote and Online Service Delivery
Recognising the varied circumstances of our clients, including people residing in Closed Controlled Access Centres (CCACs) or administrative detention, most services are provided remotely and online. Limited in-person consultations and legal representation with Athens-based Greek lawyers may also be arranged where appropriate and feasible.
